Label Bio :
Young Latitudes was created at the beginning of 2012 by three friends based in Madrid and Brighton. Between us we divide the work and each have different specialties, such as video making or art design.
We have in several occasions attempted doing music and realized we wanted to make too many different styles at the same time, and found it difficult to focus on just one genre. That’s where we thought YL could give us much more musical freedom, we could release all sorts of different stuff without the pressures or limitations a musician is sometimes subjected to.
So far, we have released two EPs and two singles. Ranging from Western Walk‘s dream-pop, blissful shoegaze from Tours, to the haunted RnB and lush 90s sampling from the split between Magic Fades & Veracom, to the schizophrenic, experimental noise-pop of deadCAT.
Our next release is a single from Australian rockers Buzz Kull, which fans of Jesus & Mary Chain, Suicide or Crocodiles will love. We are also looking preparing a ‘Grand Lux’ remix EP, although that’s at a very early stage yet.
Besides from that, we are always looking for new interesting talents and we’re looking forward to releasing more stuff.
