Diplo has a new solo album in the works, while he is soon releasing a Major Lazer, making a new remix every week and being booked as the headlining DJ 200 nights a year. With no planned date yet, we are not going to listen to this "psychedelic Southern gospel" LP anytime soon. But this first single is really tasty and make me think it could worth the wait.

Diplo spent a pretty busy summer releasing an Ep, many remixes and collaborations under the moniker of Major Lazer and probably a lot of festival gigs. His next album "Major Lazer Frees The Universe" is planned for November and you can, expect some other Mp3's and video from Diplo in the meantime, in case the Internet could forget everything about him in two months.

Love the Keith Haring-like drawings and the way they are moving in rythm with the track's bassline. On the other hand I found the song a little bit exhausting, but once in a while it's OK to listen to 4x4 electronica music like this.

When I first listenned to this track (produced by Diplo), I was clearly disapointed. We didn't want to post it in the blog since it wasn't good enough. Now that I've listenned to it a few times more, I'm starting to like it. And since spring is almost here (sorry southern hemisphere) this kind of love song is perfect for the weather. The video is directed by Sam Pilling.
